This section is dedicated to the speech that David Foster Wallace gave for the graduation ceremony at Kenyon college on 21 May 2005. Amarcord is keen to publish the transcript because it believes that everyone should read it at least once in their life to put their eyes on a different perspective, leading them to reflect on the meaning of life, of time. He also believes that the readers of Amarcord are people who want to take the time to read something that could change their perception of the world forever. So our advice is to take your time to read something unique, to immerse yourself for a moment in those students whose lives would be thrown in their faces shortly thereafter. Take a moment before you start running after time again.
